TEMA grew out of over 20 years of hands-on experience under Gonçalo Vaz’s leadership. At 14, Gonçalo was already on set helping his mother produce events and learning framing and lighting from his photographer father. By 18, he’d entered the fashion world as a crowder and quickly advanced to booker. Television followed: producing live overseas broadcasts, field-report news segments and a home-makeover series. And finally producing and directing his own interview’s show.

When Gonçalo moved into cinema and advertising, he worked for some of the industry’s biggest names absorbing their methods and shaping his own approach. For 17 years we’ve stayed behind the scenes never chasing the spotlight perfecting every detail of production. With client requests steadily rolling in, this past year felt like the right moment to introduce ourselves properly.
