Behind TEMA is Gonçalo Vaz, who brings over 20 years of hands-on production experience. He started on sets at 14, helping his mother produce events and learning framing and lighting from his photographer father. By 18, he was in the fashion world as a crowder, then booker, before moving into television, producing live broadcasts, field reports, and even his own interview show.

Gonçalo’s path naturally evolved into cinema and advertising, working with some of the industry’s biggest names and shaping TEMA’s approach: detail-driven, collaborative, and cost-savvy, ensuring that filming in Portugal remains world-class, accessible, and effortless.
